Srinivasa Kalyanam
This is a dance drama that elaborately pictures the sequence of events leading to the grand wedding of Srinivasa and Padmavati Devi. Episodes of Sage Brighu visiting Satya Lokha, Kailasam and Vaikuntam; Lakshmi leaving Vaikuntam humiliated; She performing Tapas; Brahma and Siva disguising as cow and calf in Choza Raja's palace; Srinivasa meeting Vakuladevi at Vakulaashram; Padmavati joyfully playing with her friends in the gardens where Srinivasa comes hunting for the elephant; Srinivasa's Virahathaapam; Srinivasa disguising himself as a fortune teller to foretell the marriage of Padmavati and himself and finally leading to the grand marriage of the Lord of Tirupathi Hills, Srinivasa, and the daughter of Aakasha Raja, Padmavati Devi. Music for this production has been composed by the Violin Maestro, Embar Sri Kannan.
